Noverano runs simple browser-based tools. There are no accounts, and the calculators do not send what you type into them to a server. The KDP Cover Fixer is the exception: it needs your cover file on our server to analyse and fix it, as described below. The personal data we store is limited to an email address you choose to give us for early access and the order reference of a purchase.

What the tools process

Calculator inputs (for example experience level and number of videos) are processed in your browser to produce an estimate. They are not stored on our servers.

Analytics

When analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are used and which features people click. Events include the tool name and non-identifying selections such as the experience level or whether usage rights were selected. We do not send email addresses, names or other personal data into analytics. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies as described in its own privacy documentation.

Campaign attribution

If you arrive from a link containing campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), those values are stored in your browser’s local storage so we can learn which videos or campaigns lead people to use a tool. These values describe the campaign, not you, and you can clear them at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Early access

You can choose to give us your email address to hear when a Noverano tool or feature launches. We store it on our own server with the tool you were interested in, the page you signed up on and the campaign parameters described above. We do not store your IP address or browser details with it.

We use your email only to tell you about the tool or feature you asked about. It is never sent to Google Analytics or any other analytics service. You can ask us to delete it at any time: email hello@noverano.com and say which address to remove, or write from that address. We delete the record from our lead file; any backup copies of it are overwritten as they age out.

KDP Cover Fixer uploads

When you upload a cover to the KDP Cover Fixer, the file is stored on our own server under a random job identifier, together with the book specifications you entered, the diagnostic result, the placement you chose and the campaign parameters described above. Files are never placed at a public address; downloading the fixed cover requires the job’s private token, which stays in your browser.

Uploads that are not purchased are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. For purchased jobs, the uploaded file and the fixed export are deleted 7 days after payment; only the order reference, the book specifications and the diagnostic summary are kept so we can help with support and accounting questions. Cover files are never used for anything other than your own job, and nothing about their contents is sent to analytics.

Payments

Paid exports are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see card numbers. We receive the order reference, the amount and a signed confirmation that the order was paid, and we store that with the job.
